Description

The hole is one of the many construction sites abandoned for years along Nhiêu Lộc Canal in Saigon; it became a place to dump garbage. There were many news reports about people falling into such holes with their motorbikes. Alden Pyre, the character in Graham Greene’s novel The Quiet American, was found here.
