This window is the public space at L’Espace, French cultural Institute in Hanoi. Everyday, there are thousands of people passed by especially weekends. From that observation, I am interested creating a project that interact with the viewers. This site specific installation interacts with the window of L’Espace exhibition space in a form of a city with its own reflection. I was using Japanese and Vietnamese paper with the technique of lantern making to form an imaginative landscape. With LED light inside of the sculpture, the piece can be looked at from both sides, with different effects of days and nights. My interest is to mingle my own imaginative city interact with the hectic city of Hanoi.
