Statement

This series of photos and videos is an attempt to take a glance at how the mind of an individual functions. The artist struggled with the question of ‘How can one be so in-compromise and in-denial at the same time?’ In a work created by the end of 2016 (Here lies my art), the artist had the intention to reject his personal identity as an artist - by disposing all of his work created from 2014 to 2016 in a garbage bin and, later then, to the dumpster. At that moment, the artist doubted art, to him, was so pretentious that he wanted to be someone else; he chose to be a baker but then refused to be one - and still, he doesn’t get why.
