The Outpost is a private organisation committed to the acquisition, presentation, and discussion of contemporary art in Vietnam. Envisioned as a private museum in the making, the organisation was founded by entrepreneur and art collector Ariel Phạm.

Centred on its growing collection, The Outpost introduces contemporary art to the general public through various forms such as: exhibitions, public programmes, art handling and storage solutions, and curated services that engage with various publics. Our primary goal is to expand public exposure to a diverse span of artistic practices, developing an audience base for contemporary art.

In response to the lack of a local support system in the art ecology, the organisation also seeks to build capacity for mid-career practitioners, cultivate art patronage networks, facilitate cross-disciplinary dialogues, and create opportunities that connect like-minded thinkers at home and abroad.
