Description
Drawing inspiration from the renowned French poet Arthur Rimbaud’s poem "Soleil et chair", David’s artistic endeavours delve into the profound connection between the poem and her own creative expressions. Rimbaud’s poetry adeptly elicits powerful emotions through vivid descriptions and evocative language. In a similar vein, David’s works engage in a captivating dialogue, intertwining will, ambiguity, and the unexpected. Both compositions explore intense encounters between the physical body and emotions, blurring the boundaries that separate humanity from the natural world and ultimately portraying a transcendent union between the human and the divine.
