Statement

Some pieces of furniture were single-handedly brought from the artist’s living space (a suburban area) into the exhibition space (the city Centre of Utrecht), in order to form a real-time interactive installation. A video montage, which he had been recording constantly on a daily basis during the 2 years living there, was also displayed on the laptop screen. The culture clash left the artist some questions on the state of ‘Being Here’.
